Taste of The Wasatch | Salt Lake City

Taste of the Wasatch

As a food & cocktail writer, sometimes I can forget how incredibly lucky I am to be able to have a table full of food – enough to feed my family and friends. Or, the means to spend time out and about in the city indulging in all that Salt Lake City has to offer.

It can be easy to forget that hunger in Utah is a real problem, a problem that needs community support.

Taste of the Wasatch is one way that you can help support the fight against hunger in Utah. Over 50 of Utah’s top chefs, restaurants and bakers will gather on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Solitude Mountain Resort from 11:30a.m.(for Reserved Seats), 12 noon (for general admission) until 4 p.m. for the fourth annual Taste of the Wasatch.

Right now, hundreds of Utahns are struggling with hunger. These are often hard-working adults and seniors who simply cannot make ends meet. Breaking the cycle of hunger is the driving force behind Taste of the Wasatch and the organizational programs who benefit from the event.

Funds raised stay local, directly benefiting Utahns Against Hunger, The Green Urban Lunch Box and 3 Squares, Inc.
