Cocktail Club Retreat | Featuring Five Wives Vodka

Cocktail Club by Heartbeat Nosh

This month, HBN Cocktail Club left the busy city and headed into the Odgen Valley for a little retreat. This month’s hostess, Emily, was staying on lovely property right on the Pineview Reservoir. I think that I can speak for everyone when I say we were ready to get out of the heat of the valley and enjoy a little time away to enjoy each other’s company and relax.

Ogden Valley Cocktail Club Retreat

July’s HBN Cocktail Club retreat featured Ogden’s Own Distillery’s Five Wives Vodka. Five Wives was so great to work with and I was really happy we could feature this awesome local brand. Big thanks to Audra, who hooked us all up with some awesome Five Wives swag and great info on their products. Five Wives came onto the Utah market back in 2011 and have been making waves ever since (you might remember the Idaho ban? Read more about that at the link above…). With its blend of Wasatch mountain spring water, gathered five gallons at a time from a spring in beautiful Ogden Canyon, mixed with distilled spirit originating from 100% corn (gluten free) to 80 proof (40% ABV), Five Wives subtle sweetness and smooth finish quickly gathered more fans around the state of Utah.

This crisp, clean vodka was perfect for our Moscow Mules. Also, Emily supplied PLENTY OF IT. 🙂

Emily Cocktail ClubJuly Cocktail Club Retreat Hostess: Emily

If you are looking for someone to pay attention to detail, go all out, and be the best hostess ever – then Emily is your girl. What I have learned about Emily over the few years I have known her is that she likes the finer things in life, but gives back 10 fold what she has. I have come to know her as one of the most generous and kind people, and her inviting Cocktail Club up to Ogden Valley for a retreat is a good example of that. I can’t thank you enough, Emily, for showing us such a wonderful time and catering to our every need.

Our night was so so wonderful! Full of laughs, delicious food, amazing drinks (of course), and a dance party illuminated with LED blocks and cocktail tables. Everything was a dream – I was so happy to be able to spend this time with some amazing ladies and Five Wives Vodka!
