“Because time itself is like a spiral, something special happens on your birthday each year: The same energy that God invested in you at birth is present once again.”
–Menachem Mendel Schneerson
why don’t people like birthdays? i love my birthday. i love hearing from everyone that you know that they are thinking of you. is that lame? maybe i am like a five year old…but i don’t care. i look at it like another year that i have learned, changed, grown, figured things out, not died, etc. 🙂
i am 29 today. i don’t feel old. 29 doesn’t look like an old number. 29 looks like the number of awesomeness, to be honest. i feel young, free, and at the same time so much more “together” than i did at say 22 or 23. it is a good feeling.
i am very excited to have all of my friends meeting up tonight for a birthday dinner/drinks/gather thing. and then tomorrow–portland. YAY!
