MOD shifts are always a good time to blog.

it is sunday night, which means, nothing is really going on at all in my hotel. i am getting some homework done in between keepin everyone in line! πŸ˜‰

this week has sort of been a blur of homework, sleep, dog lovin, poetry, and a lot of wine. i think i worked too somewhere in there. oh yeah, cause i am here right now. ug. work. good news, is that i kicked some ass this quarter and actually will be collecting a bonus in a few weeks. this hasn’t happened since my first quarter at the hotel. this economy has pretty much meant that meeting our sells goals was impossible. so, hopefully, not only will this put some cash in my bank account–but it is also a good sign that things are starting to get better. i know…can you believe obama didn’t fix the whole freaking world in one year? πŸ˜‰ (if i hear that one more time, i will kick someone’s face in).

so let’s get to the good stuff.

i have been waiting for this week for about 6 months. this is the week that my lovely, wonderful, amazing, best friend in the world, my sister, mandy moo, comes home from new zealand! holy crap. i am so excited to hug that sweet girl. this is the longest i have gone without seeing her for a really long time. i hate it. i really really hate it. however, i love that she is living the life that she wants to be living and that she gets to travel and see so many amazing things. i hope that once i am done with this little masters degree that i can do some things like that. maybe not move out of the country for months on end…but perhaps GET out of the country more would be nice. my passport needs some serious stampage.

anyway, all ya all be on the lookout for mandy hang out invites. πŸ™‚ i am so happy to be welcoming her home. love you, moo.

  1. The best part of her coming home is that it'll be a matter of moments before I've stolen her away to AK. MIIIIIINE! not yours.Come beat me up (and make an awesome vacation of it) if you've got a problem with this!

  2. Kids kids…..calm down. There is plenty of moo love to go around. Invites start now. Chelsea…thank you for always advertising your love for me on your blog. You make me feel special. Tim…countdown beoch. Before you know it we will be in the big smoke of anchorage wandering around Humpys and talking about the time we thought dan was dead.Until then…teach them eskimo kids some new words. XO
