so, i have been loving all of the awesome nail decals i have been seeing lately…mostly on celebs and on a friend at work. 🙂 the big name brand is minx nails–and mostly you have to go to a salon to get those done, and they run a bit more expensive. also, there is a stamping method called knoad that gives a similar look…but is a little different.
there are a lot of different brands, styles, and ways to get this look. i had been eyeing some of these nail decals at target, but had heard some not so very good things about them. but i thought–what the hell? last night i tried them for the first time.
i am in love! these are the Sally Hansen Salon Effects brand.
i will be honest, they were kind of tricky to figure out at first, but once i got the hang of it, it was pretty snappy. it took about twice as long as a regular paint job, but i think the process will get quicker. they have several different kinds and they run about $8.99. and so far, i have had no peeling or chipping…and lots of compliments. they might be my new go to since shallack is a bit more high maintenance for me…and i hate going to the nail salon.
and friends, that is my product review for the day. enjoy your weekend. we will see if these nails last! if so, they puts them automatically over regular nail polish fo sho!
