time for spring adventures

Now that the snow season is over and warm weather abounds, it means Russ and I drive to all sorts of places, hike trails, and end up eating ice cream….well, somewhere.  This weekend we drove up Provo Canyon–which I hadn’t done in years and Russ had never done.  We took a little windy road up to Sundance and then drove up through Heber and Park City.  It was a nice little adventure with stop offs at Bridal Veil Falls and Java Moos.  Those drives are probably my favorite part of summer–and this first one was awesome.  Adventuring with my man makes for a perfect day.

The Rally on Saturday was pretty awesome.  We made a statement with our signs and had a great time.  I wish that more people had showed up–only about 500 or so were there.  But all in all, it was great to feel like just for a second, we had a voice, and people were listening.  Here is the news article, where we made the photo spotlight.  Salt Lake Tribune Article >>
