Tillamook – Yogurt Like You Would Expect!

Who doesn’t love Tillamook?

Of course, they are known for their amazing cheese, but Tillamook also has some other products which you should pick up! Sour cream, ice cream, butter…and their latest addition to the Tillamook lineup – YOGURT!

I eat yogurt nearly everyday–in fact, I am eating some right now. The live cultures (also known as lactobacteria, a colon cancer fighting bacteria) are amazing for you and the protein you can get from one serving is a fantastic boost in the morning. I was super excited when I saw that Tillamook had a new line of yogurt. To me, Tillamook is a brand that guarantees quality, and their yogurt is no exception. This yogurt line also has no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors or colors, no high fructose corn syrup, and no growth hormones – all of which should be avoided.

There are some great flavors in Tillamook’s new line. My favorites are the Lemon Squeeze and the Pomegranate Blackberry – both stand on their own but are also great for melding with other flavors. See, I am what you would call a mixer. I like to mix in a lot of different things into my yogurt. The Lemon was perfect with some raspberries and vanilla granola and the Pomegranate Blackberry was delicious frozen with some whip cream (hello, dessert!). I am sucker for anything lemon, and Tillamook’s Lemon Squeeze was awesome. Both of those flavors are in the regular line, but Tillamook also has a selection of low-fat yogurt as well. Those are on my list to try next.

  1. I love tillamook anything!!I grew up in Oregon ( the home of Oregon) and can truly say they are the best. You should think about hitting up their factory some time. The show you have they make their cheeses and wait till you see all the different cheeses, yogurts, ice creams, and even butters that you can only find there. I bring my wife and two boys up there with me every year for the past 5 years and we always make are way out to the tillamook factory. The best way to do that is hit up the beach before or after for me its both.
