Frida Bistro does an fantastic job at many different things–delicious food being one of them. However, they are also great at supporting our community and giving back. Frida Bistro gives back throughout the year in a variety of different ways, but for the month of December they are donating $1 from every dessert sold to The Road Home.
The Road Home is a non-profit social services agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front – they are an amazing organization that does so much to help people in our community who need it most. The Road Home operates the largest homeless shelter in Utah and offers comprehensive programs to help people transition into permanent housing.
A big personal thank you to Frida Bistro and Pastry Chef, Peter Korth, for giving back and supporting local non-profits. Being able to eat a fabulous meal, in a local and beautiful restaurant that is concerned about the well-being of those in our community–is indeed something special.
