This looks like a fun and affordable event – and features one of my favorite Utah distilleries!
Bambara, a Kimpton restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City, welcomes craft spirit lovers and foodies to a “Bambara-style” Sip & Savor Soiree tasting event on Wednesday, April 29, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Bambara’s team will focus on craft distillery pairings for the first time as part of their seasonal educational series held in the Vault Bar.
Sugar House Distillery’s founder, James Fowler, will be on hand to discuss the pairing and flavor profiles of their vodka, malt whiskey and silver rum. Chef Nathan Powers will delight guests with seasonal small plates specifically geared to the unique flavor profile of each of their distilled spirits.
The cost for Chef Powers’ seasonal small plates pairing menu is $10 for bites and optional cocktail pairing selections are an additional $20 per person. Seating is very limited and reservations are required at (801) 363-5454.
