Some of you might know that my day job is working for a local nonprofit – and I can testify to the fact that far too many folks and kids are going hungry in Salt Lake City. It can be a chronic problem that takes time to fix – but efforts like this truly make a difference.

The sandwiches are also wonderful. I went with several work friends to check out Even Steven’s and every one of us (all six) loved our sandwiches. I have to say, I have dreamed of the Ruben sandwich and tomato soup I ordered more than a few times since. I am so happy this place is a block away from my office – I will be there often, I am sure of it.
Did I mention THEY HAVE CRAFT BEER? Beer with suggested sandwich pairings? Brilliant.
Hearty. Healthy options. Big flavor. Cheesy goodness. Dipping heaven. Soup sensations. Tasty times!
