Trolley Square Re-Lights the Tower and Launches Trolley Days | Salt Lake City
It’s historic. It’s a landmark.
Trolley Square is a Salt Lake City staple and big things
are happening in its corner of the city this weekend!
Join Trolley Square for its first “Fall Trolley Days”, September 8 – 13 (that’s THIS WEEKEND!). Shopping, dining, and entertainment will be at your fingertips and on Saturday, Sept 13 at 7:30 p.m., a celebration and relighting of the historic water tower will take place! FANCY!
If that doesn’t get you there, the first 300 customers who visit Trolley Square’s Center Court on Thursday and Friday (at 5 p.m. each day) will receive gift bags with retailer samples and coupons.

The Trolley Days event schedule follows:
Thursday, Sept. 11: 5 – 9 p.m.
- Live music.
- Local artists throughout Trolley Square.
- Children’s Activity Center – coloring, face painting, food demos by Williams-Sonoma (across from Williams-Sonoma).
Friday, Sept. 12: 5 – 9 p.m.
- Band: The Blue Aces, 7 p.m. on Trolley’s west plaza.
- Local artists throughout Trolley Square.
- Children’s Activity Center – coloring, food demos by Williams-Sonoma (across from Williams-Sonoma).
Saturday, Sept. 13: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Live music.
- Local artists throughout Trolley Square.
- Children’s Activity Center – coloring, food demos by Williams-Sonoma (across from Williams-Sonoma).
- Trolley Tower Relighting Ceremony – 7:30 p.m. (remarks at 7:30 with the relighting at approximately 7:50 p.m.)
In addition to Trolley Days, the historic marketplace is also hosting the following events this fall:
Tuesday evenings, 6 – 7 p.m., the “Coach Whittingham Show,” broadcast live by ESPN 700 from Desert Edge Pub and Brewery. Check Facebook.com/TrolleySquare for specific dates.
Friday Night Live, a six-week concert series, held on Trolley Square’s West Plaza. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and the series runs through Friday, Oct. 3. The remaining schedule is as follows:
