New in Town | Table X – Heartbeat Nosh

Three amazing chefs have created one brand new incredible
restaurant concept in Salt Lake City, and it is called Table X.

Table X

Mike Blocher, Nick Fahs, and David Barboza have been working on this project of love for nearly 2 years, and not only is the food amazing, the space is as well.

The beautiful Table X is anything but pretentious, but the construction is detail oriented, spacious, and modern. And with a beautiful, large open kitchen, you can really feel apart of the action. It is truly a mesh of modern new design with classic historical components, and just being the space feel comforting and exciting all at once. (Parallel Lines, architect, and Andrea Beecher, from M3LD, created the stunning interior).

And, being located in the Brickyard area, Table X is truly accessible to folks all over the valley.

Table X

I was able to attend a media opening before their big opening day on this week, and I was truly blown away by the food, the chefs, the space, AND THE COCKTAILS! Every dish was gorgeous and tasted as good as it looked — some of the favorites being the small bites and appetizers.

Table X

Table X definitely gives you a menu that makes choosing difficult! Also, if you take a peek into the back of the restaurant, you’ll see a sizable garden that even circles the parking lot – full of an amazing harvest that Table X is going to cook up for you. Talk about seasonal and sustainable!

There are so many details to love.

Here are some photos from our dinner, and I invite you to get to Table X for an intimate and delicious dinner with someone special to you. Go a few times; try everything on the menu. Send people from out of town who you want to impress with what Salt Lake has to offer. Table X has created so many impressive elements.

*One thing to note: while many restaurants seem to be packing as many tables into a space as possible, Table X does just the opposite. Tables are spread out and space for intimate conversations with your dining parter are actually possible. This is another element that really impressed me with Table X!*
